This is a consolidated case which began when an in commendam partnership, Elk Place Medical Plaza, borrowed money to finance construction of a building budgeted at $6,011,064. Coldwell Mortgage Trust provided $5,000,000 interim financing and Whitney National Bank of New Orleans loaned the balance represented by a promissory note for $1,011,064, dated July 12, 1973, payable on demand, with 8½% interest per annum and signed by the managing partner...
