BLANCHE, Justice.

William "Bill" Johnson and Kevin Seward were charged by grand jury indictment with first degree murder in violation of La.R.S. 14:30. A motion for severance was granted by the trial court. Thereafter, defendant Johnson filed a motion to suppress a confession given to police on the morning of his arrest.
