GONZALEZ, Justice.

This is an appeal from a conviction for murder. Trial was before a jury which found appellant guilty and assessed punishment at life in the Texas Department of Corrections. The dispositive issue is whether the trial court erred in allowing the prior testimony of a State's witness to be used against appellant where it was shown that the testimony had been obtained as the result of an undisclosed "understanding" between the State...
