This suit arises as the result of an automobile accident which occurred on January 23, 1979, involving Patti Prevost, who was driving a Ford van, and Hillary T. Hernandez, who was driving a dump truck owned by J.K. Cowan, Sr. Contracting Company, Inc. and insured by Continental Insurance Company. A jury trial was held on November 2 and 3, 1981, at which time defendants stipulated liability and in exchange plaintiffs agreed to limit their demands for damages...
