Petitioner Glen Hon worked in coal mines in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Utah and Wyoming. His last coal mining job ended in 1951. In 1973 he filed a claim for benefits under the Black Lung Benefits Act, 30 U.S.C. §§ 901 et seq., asserting that he was totally disabled from pneumoconiosis, or black lung.
