Defendant, Lowell "Sonny" Connella, pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen things having a value of more than $100 but less than $500, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:69, expressly reserving his right to appeal the trial court's rulings on his pretrial motions to suppress illegally seized evidence and to quash the indictment.
