SHORTESS, Judge.

Eli Jackson (defendant) was charged by grand jury indictment with simple burglary of a pharmacy, in violation of La.R.S. 14:62.1. He pled not guilty, was tried by a jury, and found guilty as charged. He was then charged as a habitual offender, received a hearing, and was so adjudged by the trial court. He was sentenced to ten years at hard labor with the Department of Corrections and cast for all court costs. Defendant has appealed his conviction...
