Bruce Wayne Johnson appeals the district court's1 denial of his petition for post conviction relief under 28 U.S.C. § 2255. Johnson was convicted of three federal firearm offenses: possession of a firearm by a felon in violation of 18 U.S.C.App. § 1202(a)(1); possession of a twelve gauge, unregistered sawed-off shotgun in violation of 26 U.S.C. §§ 5861(d) and 5871; and possession
