This is a petitory action. The plaintiff, L. C. Weaver, claims ownership by record title of one acre of land of which defendants, the Haileys, are in possession. The Haileys filed an answer alleging ownership by the acquisitive prescriptions of 30 years and 10 years of the 40 acres in which plaintiff alleges the one acre in dispute is located. But defendants prayed only that plaintiff's demands be rejected. They did not file a reconventional demand...
