Plaintiff, Mary G. Smith, filed this suit for damages against Charles E. Mayfield and his liability insurer, Millers Mutual, alleging that while she was walking across a street she was negligently struck and run over by a pickup truck driven by Mayfield's minor son, James Mayfield. Also named as defendant was Firemen's Insurance Company, plaintiff's insurer, who provided uninsured motorist coverage of $10,000. Charles Mayfield and Millers Mutual answered...
