Appellant was arrested on board a boat in the Gulf of Mexico just off the coast of Florida. A large quantity of marijuana was seized from the boat at the time of the arrest. Appellant was convicted of trafficking in cannabis in excess of ten thousand pounds. On appeal, he argues that the court erred in refusing to give his requested instruction on the defense of coercion.
