Carl E. Wuench and Terry L. Wuench Lee (plaintiffs) brought an action against Ford Motor Company and Nelsen Hirschberg, Incorporated (defendants), for personal injuries and "property damage" which allegedly resulted from a defect in an automobile. Plaintiffs' complaint consisted of eight counts alleging negligence, breach of warranty, strict liability in tort, res ipsa loquitur,
