BOSLAUGH, Justice.

Dawn Hastings and Robert Hastings, parents of a boy born May 7, 1978, appeal from an order of the separate juvenile court terminating their parental rights to their child.

Reports which appear in the record show that the child had been placed in a foster home after a "police pickup." The child, who at that time was less than 1 year old, had been taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center...
