On November 25, 1980 defendant Mark Lejeune was charged in separate bills of information with five counts of theft, in violation of La.R.S. 14:67. The basis of the charges was a series of unauthorized entries into privately owned vehicles located in the parking lot of the Elton School in Elton, Louisiana on the evening of October 31, 1980.
