This tort suit was instituted by plaintiff, Tracy Scott, Jr., against defendant, Bolan Ford, Inc., for damages arising out of a one-vehicle accident which occurred on March 21, 1980, just north of Campti, in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana.

Prior to the date of the accident plaintiff had purchased an automobile from defendant, who operates his car dealership in Coushatta, Louisiana. Thereafter...
