In the early morning hours of July 26, 1980, the home of Bobby Earl Kerr and Mildred Kellett Kerr located in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, was destroyed by arson.1 At the time of the fire, the Kerrs' home and its contents were insured by a State Farm Fire and Casualty Co.
