OPINION

COATS, Judge.

On July 29, 1979, Joseph Koch, Jr., drove his car into the rear of a motorcycle driven by Dana Lundquist. The accident took place north of Fairbanks on the Steese Highway at approximately 12:45 a.m. Koch was driving within the speed limit, about forty-five mph in a fifty mph zone, when he attempted to brake in order to avoid Lundquist, who was either stopped or traveling at a very slow speed. Lundquist was apparently in the process...
