BLANCHE, Justice.*

Defendant was indicted by a grand jury in Rapides Parish for the offense of manslaughter. At arraignment, she entered a plea of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity. A sanity hearing was conducted and the trial court determined defendant had the mental capacity to proceed to trial. After a bench trial, defendant was found guilty as charged and sentenced to six years at hard labor. She appeals this conviction...
