RICHARDSON, J.

Were the admissions procedures permitting consideration of "ethnic minority status" as a factor in the 1975 selection of the first year class at King Hall, the University of California at Davis School of Law, violative of the equal protection guarantees afforded nonminorities under the federal or state Constitutions?
