Appellant Salem Dandashi, a fifty-seven year old carpenter suffered skull fractures on February 4, 1977 when struck in the face with a hammer wielded by a co-employee. On February 9, 1977, appellee, Dr. Jay Fine, assisted by appellee, Dr. Mark Gordon, performed surgery on Dandashi to repair a fracture of the orbital floor of his left eye.
