This is a suit for the death of a thoroughbred yearling racehorse owned by the plaintiff. The colt was insured by Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's. The plaintiff, S. J. LeBlanc, made a claim for $35,000.00. The defendants refused payment contending there was no coverage because the plaintiff failed to comply with certain conditions contained in the policy; and that the policy was an actual value policy and that the plaintiff's loss was far less than...
