Plaintiff, Mrs. Peggy R. Lombardo, has appealed from a dismissal of her medical malpractice claim against Dr. Sidney D. Bullard, a gynecologist, and his insurer. Bullard was alleged to be negligent in his use of cotton sutures for a vaginal repair and in his failure to recognize that these sutures were causing serious problems for her during the post-operative period.
