Plaintiffs are the alleged owners of a tract of land in Vermilion Parish. Defendant is the alleged former owner of an oil, gas and mineral lease affecting that tract. Plaintiffs seek damages alleged to have been sustained by them as a result of defendant's "negligent breach of contract."
