Gilberto Molina (hereinafter defendant) was convicted of attempt armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 38, par. 8-4) and armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 38, par. 18-2) following a bench trial and was sentenced to serve six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. On appeal, the defendant contends that at trial (1) he was not proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt...
