LEE, Justice, for the Court:

Robert Earl May, Jr. (Bubba May) was jointly indicted in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County with Ernest Earl Toliver, Lawrence E. Williams, and Bob Henry Terrell for armed robbery. Appellant's accomplices pled guilty and received twelve-year sentences. A jury found appellant guilty but did not fix sentence. The trial judge, Honorable Joe N.
