Plaintiff, Michael Don Keys, instituted this suit against the defendants, Sambo's Restaurant, Inc. (Sambo's) and Terry Smith, Sambo's Alexandria assistant manager, claiming damages for unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and personal injuries. The trial jury found in favor of the defendants and dismissed the plaintiff's suit. On appeal, the Third Circuit Court of Appeal, 389 So.2d 1360, agreed with the plaintiff...
