Plaintiff sues for damages for loss of use of a building and equipment and for deterioration of the building due to defendant's continued possession of the leased premises after the 6-month term of the lease expired. The original petition was filed on August 26, 1975 against the lessee, Louisiana State Board of Education. A default judgment was obtained by plaintiff against defendant on September 19, 1975...
