This diversity action arises from the claim of plaintiffs-appellants, Ramon Feliciano, his wife Fundadora Valentin, and their son Flores Feliciano Valentin, alleging a bad faith failure by defendant-appellee, the United Services Automobile Association (USAA), to settle prior to trial, within the policy limits, an automobile accident case against it and its insured, Francis Marqua.
