Defendant, Dwight Battles, was convicted by a jury of the murder of his two infant daughters, Audrey and Stephanie, aged 2 and 3 years respectively, and was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 40 to 80 years. Defendant appeals, contending (1) he was not guilty of murder, but only of involuntary manslaughter, and (2) the State's final argument to the jury was inflammatory and prejudicial...
