This is a medical malpractice suit filed by the plaintiff, Nelson Joseph Andrus, against defendants, Drs. Joseph G. Patton, Glynn Granger, Seldon J. Deshotels and their professional liability insurer, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company. Defendant physicians are business associates who work out of the same office located in Opelousas, Louisiana.
