This case involves the breach of a land sale contract.

Defendants, Glenn and Agnes Weiss, advertised their farm for sale in November 1978. Plaintiff, Edward Futrell, answered this advertisement on December 2, 1978 by calling defendants on the telephone, at which time Mr. Weiss told plaintiff that the purchase price would be $7,000.00 equity and the assumption of a mortgage of between $34,000.00 and $35,000.00.
