Defendant, Stephen V. Blanton, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of R.S. 40:967. Defendant made a motion to suppress all the evidence seized by the narcotics agents. The trial judge suppressed the cocaine discovered in the defendant's briefcase, but held admissible the cocaine seized from the defendant's person. Defendant now raises three assignments of error to this pre-trial...
