Appellant Leo Dunaway was convicted by the Circuit Court of Pike County of the crime of manslaughter by culpable negligence in the operation of an automobile under Mississippi Code Annotated § 97-3-47 (1972), and sentenced to serve a term of 8 years, with 4 years suspended. We affirm. The accident occurred on October 20, 1979, appellant was indicted by the grand jury on October 21, 1979, and his trial was held at the March Term...
