Plaintiffs, Vernon McClinton and his wife Gracie, sued Herbert W. Reid d/b/a Reid's Fire Equipment Co., and Casco Products Company1 seeking recovery of damages sustained to plaintiffs' restaurant when an automatic fire extinguisher system allegedly malfunctioned.
