Calvert Fire Insurance Company (the insurer) appeals from a judgment1 awarding the Gibbars (the insureds) the sum of $41,722.70, plus interest, for accidental damage to the seagoing vessel M/V Linda under a "Hull and Machinery" marine insurance policy. For reasons set forth below, we affirm the judgment.
