Defendant was convicted of three counts of robbery in the first degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. He appeals from a denial of his motion to dismiss the indictment for failure to provide a speedy trial under CPL 30.30 on the ground that the delay exceeded 180 days.
