On March 27, 1980, the joint debtors filed a First Amended Complaint to declare existing judgment liens to be null and void under 11 U.S.C. § 522(f)(1) on the basis that the liens impaired exemptions to which the debtors would have otherwise been entitled under 11 U.S.C. § 522(b).
