This appeal involves the issue of whether the state was negligent or made negligent or intentional misrepresentations in the placement of a mental patient on plaintiffs' dairy farm without disclosing his alleged fire-setting propensities. Recovery was sought for damages from a fire which destroyed the entire contents of plaintiffs' barn on the evening of January 12, 1970. By stipulation of the parties...
