Defendant was bound over for trial on two counts of armed robbery, MCL 750.529; MSA 28.797, one count of assault with intent to rob being armed, MCL 750.89; MSA 28.284, and one count under the felony-firearm statute, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). After a jury trial he was convicted on one of the armed robbery counts and on the felony-firearm count and was acquitted of the remaining charges. He was sentenced to a prison term of from 5-1/2 to 15 years on...
