Defendant, Robert Mosley, Jr., was indicted by a grand jury for the crimes of aggravated rape and armed robbery, in violation of La.R.S. 14:42 and 14:64. After trial by jury, he was found guilty of both offenses. The trial court, following pre-sentence investigation, sentenced the defendant to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence for the aggravated rape, and twenty years at hard labor without...
