Appellants, Warren Hope and Melvin Poitier, were convicted in a jury trial of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, distribution of cocaine, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and conspiracy to commit the two substantive offenses. 21 U.S.C. § 846.
