Plaintiff Rubin Kremer was employed as an engineer by defendant Chemical Construction Corporation (Chemico). He was laid off, along with a number of other employees, on August 1, 1975. Some of these employees were later rehired but Kremer was not, despite several applications. He claims that the termination and failure to rehire were due to his being of the Jewish faith; Chemico asserts it was due...
