Defendant, originally charged with four counts of illegal possession of controlled substances, negotiated, through his counsel, a plea agreement whereby he entered a plea to the count charging him with possession of cocaine, and the trial court sentenced him to a prison term of 2 years with execution stayed and defendant placed on probation, the first 9 months to be served in the workhouse.
