This is an appeal from a judgment awarding appellee damages for personal injuries incurred as a result of alleged negligence by the City. At the close of plaintiff's evidence the trial court denied the City's motion for instructed verdict and granted appellee's motion for instructed verdict as to liability. The basis of the City's motion for instructed verdict was the failure of appellee to "duly verify" her notice of claim to the City as required...
