WISDOM, Circuit Judge:

In this case, unfortunately, the legally correct result produces something like declaring an open season on motor vehicles in American border towns — provided that the recipient of the stolen vehicles escapes the clutches of Mexican and Canadian law. Nevertheless, for lack of jurisdiction, we must reverse the district court's judgment entering defendant Francesco Columba-Colella's plea of guilty to the offense of receiving a stolen vehicle...
