Plaintiff William Nallan (hereinafter plaintiff) commenced the instant action to recover damages for personal injuries resulting from a gunshot wound which he sustained while standing in the lobby of the defendants' building prior to attending a union meeting. The lobby attendant was, at the time, engaged in cleaning an elevator and while so occupied had neglected to lock one of the front doors...
