The Louisiana Highway Department in this expropriation suit appealing, claims that the amount of the severance damages and attorney fees awarded to defendant are excessive.

The property subject of this suit, owned by defendant, is located in the City of Kenner, fronting on the northside of Veterans Highway commencing approximately 400 feet west of the intersection of Veterans Highway and Williams Blvd. and measures 280 feet front on Veterans...
