Lawrence Blackwell, Jr. was found guilty of carnal knowledge of a juvenile in violation of R.S. 14:80. The state charged him as a multiple offender, pursuant to R.S. 15:529.1, and presented evidence of his prior convictions of possession of marijuana and simple robbery.
