BOWEN, Judge.

The defendant was indicted and convicted of grand larceny. Sentence was five years' imprisonment. Court appointed counsel represents the defendant at trial and on appeal.

Mrs. Estelle Stacey was employed with the I.G.A. Foodliner in Frisco City in Monroe County on February 27, 1979. The defendant was standing at the cash register "grinning" at Mrs. Stacey and "working his hand behind him" while Mrs. Stacey checked customers in another aisle....
