This is a suit by Cecil G. Knickerbocker, Official Court Reporter for the Fifteenth Judicial District Court1 against the Vermilion Parish Police Jury for payment for work done in the course of his employment.

Mr. Knickerbocker alleges that he reported and transcribed various criminal indigent cases in the Fifteenth Judicial District Court and was not paid by the Vermilion Parish Indigent Defender Board for these services...
